Women’s Community Shelters (WCS), in partnership with the Mornington Peninsula Council, local community and local steering committees is mobilising its unique social franchise model of shelter establishment to open a new crisis centre on the Mornington Peninsula for women with or without children.
WCS has a proven model in NSW - a detailed understanding of their business can be viewed at the Women's Community Shelters website and in their annual report.
This support encompasses vital funding, and we need the support of the local community on the Mornington Peninsula. The Lions Club of Flinders District is working with WCS to help make this happen. The first house will be called Moonah House. WCS’s Moonah House is a registered Company Limited by Guarantee and has registered DGR charitable status with the ATO.
For all other donations please contact our treasurer Mark Holland at treasurer@flindersdistrictlions.com.au or 0418 541 969.
A tax deductible receipt for donations shall be issued by Moonah House upon written request.
The policies, terms and conditions listed above have been stipulated by the event holder. These are to be read in conjunction with the general TicketHost Purchase Agreement.
