Join the Science of Fun team on a delightful sensory
adventure filled with feathers, nests and bright treasures!
Inspired by the themes in Feathers for Phoebe, children will create their own bird nests using a mix of soft moss, colourful feathers, twigs, bark and sparkling
treasures. Each child will design a miniature world within their nest—adding eggs, feathers and sensory details to give their bird a cosy home full of personality and flair.
As part of the creative fun, children
will also design and craft their own feathered bird mask, choosing colours, textures and patterns to reflect their inner bird’s boldness or beauty. The finished mask becomes both a fun costume piece and a special keepsake to take home.
This workshop blends imaginative play, tactile exploration and creative construction, offering a fun-filled, hands-on experience for young makers.
