International Women’s Day – Honouring the Women Who Came Before Us
It’s about honouring women.
The women who came before
us.
The women who shaped us.
The women whose strength, care, courage, frustration, love, sacrifice, humour, and humanity live on through us.
This evening is about pausing long enough to acknowledge the humans who make
us who we are and leaning into the heart of what is truly amazing about being a woman.
This is a sit-down dinner, held in respect and curiosity. A space to reflect on womanhood not as a role to perform, but as a lived experience… complex, powerful,
tender, resilient, and real.
There are no stages to stand on. No boxes to tick.
Just shared stories, thoughtful
conversation, and appreciation for the many ways women carry families, workplaces, communities, and generations forward.
Because before there were movements, there were mothers, daughters, sisters, mentors, friends, and quiet leaders doing
the work long before it had a name.
This night is for them.
And for the women living it now.
