Sustainability and circular economy fluency are no longer “nice to have” - they are fast becoming an important factor when applying for public and private sector contracts.
Join Frankston
City Council and FTD Circular for a practical, in-person workshop designed to help local businesses understand sustainability and circular-economy leadership. This 90-minute session will demystify what buyers are looking for, showcase
real-world case studies, and provide clear, actionable strategies that businesses can apply immediately - regardless of size or sector.
The
workshop will be delivered by Vanessa Cullen, Founder and Director of FTD Circular, with 24 years’ experience running a successful built-environment consultancy and deep expertise in sustainability and circular economy implementation.
Vanessa works extensively with government, developers and major asset owners, and is a Green Building Council of Australia - Green Star - Circular Strategies Expert Reference Panel member.
Workshop participants will gain a practical understanding of how sustainability and circularity may influence procurement decisions, how to embed these principles into everyday operations, and how to respond confidently
to sustainability-related requirements in EOIs, tenders and contracts. You’ll also be introduced to CircularSupply.au and learn how to leverage
local suppliers and social enterprises to support delivery, reduce risk, and demonstrate genuine impact.
If you
want to learn how you can incorporate sustainability and circularity into your tender submissions, this workshop is for you.
